Accurate Distances
Most players now use swing by swing golf app to provide distances. This helps speed up play. Plus it has shown that the yardage markers provided on the course are not that accurate.

Official Time
All players must show up during the scheduled tee time (3:45 – 4:45). No playing earlier in the day/week. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you will not be playing, contact your opponent. You must wait for oyur opponent.
- When playing the blind or your opponent doesn’t show, you are playing against yourself.
- Max score per hole is double par
- Weekly prizes ($5.00) are for closet to the pin on the par 3’s and longest putt on 9 and 18. In the evnt no one wins a skill prize only the money will be rolled over to the same hole (no one gets closest to the pin on 17, in 2 weeks the money will be $10). RAYTOM points DO NOT roll over.
- Please turn all scorecards into Bill, Don or Jeff. If they are not available please give to Dick and someone will pick them up.
- In the case of bad weather, if we stop and then continue play, 3/4 of the league present must finish for points to count. Scores will count regardless. This is due to us having a league behind us. If we do not have a league behind us it will revert back to 1/2 of the present league
- If the course closes due to weather, no points will be given regardless if you are on the course. Handicaps will be used for scores.
- If you hit into high/tall grass on any hole and either find or lose the ball, you may play from the high/tall grass, no penalty. If you decide not to drop in the high/tall grass, you must play within 1 club length of the high/tall grass with a 1 stroke penalty no closer to the hole. To speed up play please limit your search to no more than 2 minutes
- If you hit into any water hazard, you may take a lateral with a 1 stroke penalty.
- Leaf rule – if you and your partner agree that your ball is in play and not out of bounds or in high/tall grass, you may drop to where you both agree, no penalty.
- Rolling of the ball is permitted to no more than 6 – 8 inches, no closer to the hole.
- Standing water:
a. In the fairway, free drop within 1 club length no closer to the hole, no penalty.
b. On the green, free drop that gives you a clear line, equal distance from the hole, no penalty. - Sand Traps, since they are not well maintained, you are:
a. Permitted to rake the trap and place your ball on top of the raked sand, no penalty.
b. If you are in standing water in the trap, play from inside the trap no closer to the hole, no penalty.
c. If you are up against the lip or on top of the fabric under the sand, you may move the ball but still inside the trap (refer to 8a or 8b above if necessary) - Any ground under repair, free drop no closer to the pin.
- Any out of bounds not covered in these rules, drop near where the ball went out of bounds within 1 club length with a 1 stroke penalty.
- On #8 if you hit into the ditch, free drop no closer to the pin.
- On # 11 if you hit over the road or lose your ball in the grass beside the road, you must play from between the road and the cart path, 1 stroke penalty.
- On # 17 the waste bunker to the left of the green is considered ground under repair, free drop no closer to the hole.
- On #18 where the rocks used to be down near the green crossing the fairway, ground under repair, free drop no closer to the hole
- If anything is in doubt that is not covered here, ask Joe, and Bill will add to this list. If your score changes, please fix your card.
- When putting, if you are within 3 feet of the hole, please putt out as long as your stance allows.
